How long do the workshops last?
It depends on the class or workshop chosen. All descriptions include this information. PLEASE arrive 10 minutes ahead of the time to prepare for the class.
Are there any classes for novices?
Levels are elementary and above.
How many students does it take to confirm a class?
Minimum for a class to move forward is 3. We keep the classes intimate to enhance the learning environment.
Do you offer private as well as lessons for a group or organization?
Yes. We can host classes in the shop and studio or come to your location and conduct the class or workshop there.
Do you ever conduct workshops at locations other than the School?
We prefer to teach at the school’s location, however, we will travel, usually with an additional travel fee, depending on participation.
Garden Clubs &
We gladly offer our space for hosting your meeting, provided we do a demonstration at the beginning of the program. The subject and length are customs. Generally, we offer the room for 2 hours. The room seats 30 people in a classroom-style seating format. Space is available for rental as well.
Hands-on workshops are also available for a fee per participant.
Our meeting space is available for rental, generally during normal business hours. It seats 30 people in a classroom-style format and 12 with each person at a “workstation”.
The rental fee includes the use of chairs and tables provided.
Though our workshops are each on a specific subject, we always cover many different areas of flower arranging, using color, various design styles and tips and tricks on caring for flowers as well as ideas for using them for many occasions and in your home.
You will have the benefit of expert instructors, with 46 years of combined experience.
All foliage, flowers, and containers are supplied and you can take the arrangement you create home with you at the end of the workshop.
The workshops give you an interesting and varied appreciation of the use of flowers for different occasions, each with a qualified instructor but does not lead to a board recognized certification.
